concept
Play examines the subjective perception of constructed realities in film such as presentations of faces, places, emotions and histories. The performance deals with the mind's ability to construct stories from what we see and hear in films and reflects about the relationship between imaginary realities and real fictions.
Chosen sequences from different films are projected behind four performers, while they act in a complex matrix of cinematic aspects. Their movements are always related in a different manner towards editing, timing and the filmic room of each sequence. The grammar of the movement material is related to a graphic structure, which represents different codes.
